The FIA team was back in action on January 20 2009 at David & Mary Thomson C.I. Three schools of Grade 4, 5 and 6 students competed hard in all the relay and field events of the Fun In Athletics Competition. Woburn’s boy’s team started off strong as they won 4 of the 6 relay events. The competition equaled out as Willow Park and Galloway fought hard to come back in the field events. The boy’s side of the competition ended with Woburn taking first place with 456 points followed by Willow Park in second place with 452 point and Galloway in third place with 436 points.

On the girl’s side of the competition Galloway was the leader after the relay events as they won 4 out first 5 events.  The girl’s competition ended with a tie between Galloway and Willow Park with 452 points a piece and coming in second was Woburn with 442 points.

Combined team scores put Willow Park in first place followed by Woburn in second place and Galloway in third place.
